My Work

Who I am

BSE, Major in Computer Science and Engineering, Minor in Spanish, December 2021

I am currently a graduate student at the University of Iowa studying Electrical and Computer Engineering, I will complete my MS degree this coming December (2022) and plan to enter the workforce as a Software Engineer. I am currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Geb Thomas of the GROK Lab (Graphical Representation of Knowledge). My research focuses on creating distributed wireless sensors to detect unhealthy air conditions and is funded by the US Air Force. I also received my BSE in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Iowa in December 2021. During my time in undergrad I worked with a wide variety of technologies and people. I had 3 different summer Software Engineering internships (Meta/Facebook, Collins Aerospace and Ricoh Inc.) and one 8 month co-op (Collins Aerospace), these experiences helped me become a better team player, software developer and learner. I am passionate about creating useful software, I am especially interested in joining a team working on large scale modularized SaaS solutions. Some of my hobbies include outdoor activities such as distance running, skiing and camping, accompanied by a lot of music. I also love foreign languages, I studied Spanish in college and I am currently learning German in my free time.
